Community Event with food this Thursday, Jan 31

21CCLC is hosting a community event this Thursday, January 31 at 5:30 p.m. for all parents and families of all our participants!  Come enjoy some FREE DINNER for you and your family and see what the 21st Century Community Learning Center (AKA "after-school program") is all about.  Park in the west parking lot and enter through the main (west) doors, first hall on the left to room 1104.  This event also coincides with the "Get Ready" career and college fair, so come out and hit two birds with one stone:)

Snowy days

It's clear now that winter is here.  It's always funny the way we look forward to having a day here and there where the daytime high temperature will be above 32 degrees.  It hasn't happened very many times in the last several weeks, but that's not stopping anyone from enjoying the lounge.  We'll be having another community event soon, so stay tuned for more information on that.  Mrs. Thornton is beginning to offer test preparation help and individualized tutoring on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school.  This begins Jan. 14 and is intended to help anyone interested to have the skills needed to be successful on the ACT and SAT college entrance exams.
